LOVED CLOTHES LAST
If you do buy something from us, thank you so much! It means the world to a small business. We’ve spent a lot of time designing and producing our products and hope you'll look after them so they last a long time! How we clean our clothes and how regularly has an impact on the environment. We’re not asking you to wear dirty clothes, but by sharing this we hope that you’ll rethink how you wash and care for them.
With the exception of underwear, most garments don’t need to be washed as frequently. Spot cleaning can help remove small stains and hanging them in a ventilated space can eliminate odours. When you do use the washing machine, a colder setting will keep the garment in better condition and save energy. We advise you to wash our garments at 30℃.
We don’t recommend using a tumble dryer. Not only is it expensive and bad for the environment, but it can also damage the fibres on your clothes making them look and feel old much faster. The lint trap in your dryer will give you an idea of how much fibre breaks away from garments in this process.
Microfibres are shed from synthetic fabrics such as acrylic or polyester and are pretty much invisible to the naked eye. They pass through filters at water processing plants and eventually head out to sea. Aside from washing less, we recommend using a laundry bag to prevent fibres that break off being washed down the drain.
