We are honoured to support reforestation with One Tree Planted as part of our commitment to sustainability. Every tree makes a positive impact for nature, wildlife and people. Trees are essential to the health of our planet, biodiversity and reducing the harmful effects of climate change. Reforestation is consistently identified by scientists as one of the top solutions to the climate crisis and the trees planted as part of this initiative will help support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental charity with a focus on global reforestation. They work with partners in North America, South America, Africa and Asia to get trees in the ground and restore forests after natural disasters and deforestation. They only plant local tree species, grown in nearby nurseries and plant when conditions are optimal for tree survival. This doesn’t just benefit nature and the climate; it directly impacts the people living in the affected areas. The work they do helps create jobs, build communities and protect habitat for biodiversity.
As a fledgling brand, we have a lot to learn, so working with One Tree Planted is a great way for us to work towards our ethical and sustainability goals.
